Autreau-Roualet Brut NV Champagne
The Autreau Family have been involved in growing grapes and producing Champagne since 1670. Based in the picturesque village of Champillon, near Epernay.
Predominantly a blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier with a small amount of Chardonnay. Pinot Meunier gives the blend body and roundness while the Pinot Noir adds the rich fruit and mouth-filling style. With Chardonnay’s fresh acidity this all combines to give a very fresh style of Champagne that can be drunk on all occasions.
A strong gold colour with fine salmon glints. Deep aromas in which fresh fruits dominate with a hint of hazelnut. The taste is full bodied and pleasant due to the weighty fruit. The dosage is light which permits this wine to express its “finesse”.
